The AndyMark AM14U5 - 6 Wheel Drop Center Robot Drive Base w/ Gear Ratio 5.95:1 - 2024 FIRST Kit of Parts Chassis is an advanced, large-format drive platform engineered for both prototyping and final robotic designs. This unassembled kit offers three primary configurations—Long, Square, and Wide—allowing for infinite customization to meet specific project needs. Featuring HiGrip Wheels, Toughbox Mini Gearboxes, and Gates HTD Belts, this chassis ensures smooth maneuverability and robust performance. The AM14U5 represents the fifth major upgrade, incorporating extensive customer feedback since its inception in 2014. Essential for the FIRST Robotics Competition, it requires assembly and aluminum cutting, with comprehensive manuals and assembly videos available to guide users. The chassis supports various motor and encoder configurations, including compatibility with US Digital E4T and REV Through Bore Encoders. A minimum of two CIM style motors is required, although four are recommended for optimal performance. The chassis also includes improved pulley screws, addressing previous issues identified in the 2022 Kit of Parts Chassis.
