The AndyMark EVO Shifter Short Hex Shaft, StageA 3 - 45.33:1 Ratio 2:1, StageB 3 - 12.00:1 Ratio 2:1 represents a significant advancement in shifting transmission gearboxes. This two-speed, shift-on-the-fly gearbox incorporates a refined 4-tooth dog shifting mechanism, allowing for smooth and efficient transitions between gears. It is compatible with two CIM or NEO motors and can be configured with either two or three interior stages, offering flexibility in performance. The gearbox is shipped assembled, though motors are not included.

Significant improvements have been made over previous models, including the use of AMPCO® 18 Bronze for the dog gear, which enhances strength and lubricity. The shift block assembly has been reinforced with a larger bearing and threaded steel housing, contributing to the gearbox's durability. The input stage employs 32 DP gears and a 15-tooth pinion gear, facilitating a high first stage reduction. Users have the autonomy to select their preferred high and low ratios, with the option to swap ratios as needed.

The EVO Shifter utilizes a pneumatic shift method, powered by a spring-extend pneumatic cylinder, enabling gear shifts even during acceleration or deceleration. The gearbox features aggressive weight reduction techniques and can be mounted to an AM14U family chassis or a 2"x1" box tube frame. It includes a US Digital encoder and offers additional encoder options for enhanced functionality.

Note: Proper greasing is essential for optimal operation and longevity of the gearbox. It is recommended to run the gearbox for a short period without grease to allow the gear teeth to wear in before applying grease.
