The AndyMark EVO Shifter am14u Family Shaft, StageA 3 Stage - 15.11:1 Ratio 2:1, StageB 3 Stage - 21.72:1 Ratio 2:1 represents a significant advancement in shifting transmission gearboxes. This two-speed, shift-on-the-fly gearbox incorporates an enhanced 4-tooth dog shifting method, allowing for seamless transitions between speeds. It is compatible with two CIM or NEO motors and can be configured with either two or three interior stages, offering flexibility in performance. The gearbox is shipped assembled, though motors are not installed.

Significant improvements have been made over previous models, including a robust 1/8" diameter shoulder screw and a dog gear made from AMPCO® 18 Bronze, which provides added lubricity for smoother shifting. The gearbox features a super-strong shift block assembly with a larger bearing and threaded steel housing, enhancing durability. The input stage utilizes 32 DP gears and a 15-tooth pinion gear, achieving a high 85:15 first stage reduction. Users can independently select high and low ratios, and the gearbox supports various encoder options.

The EVO Shifter employs a pneumatic shift method, utilizing a spring-extend pneumatic cylinder that allows for shifting even during acceleration or deceleration. The gearbox is designed for easy assembly and disassembly, with cluster gears featuring identical characteristics on both sides. An optional third stage provides additional ratio choices, and the gearbox can be mounted to an AM14U family chassis or a 2"x1" box tube frame. Aggressive weight reduction features have been incorporated into the design, ensuring a lightweight yet robust construction.
