The AndyMark NeveRest Orbital Gearmotor 3.7:1 1784 rpm Anderson Powerpole 15A is a durable planetary gearmotor specifically engineered for the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC). This gearmotor is equipped with a pre-installed encoder and features an output shaft centrally located on the output face. The shaft measures 6 mm in diameter, and the gearbox housing has a diameter of 37 mm. The power cable is fitted with Anderson Powerpole 15A connectors, which are widely used by FTC and FRC teams.
This gearmotor is compliant with the regulations of both the FIRST Tech Challenge and the FIRST Robotics Competition, making it a versatile choice for robotics applications. It is compatible with various gearboxes, such as the PicoBox LEO, GEO, and MEO, which facilitate the creation of chain drives and allow for gear changing. The encoder mounted on the motor's backside is a hall effect encoder with a 7 pulse per revolution (PPR) rating, providing precise feedback for control systems.
The gearmotor's robust construction, featuring steel and plastic materials, ensures reliability and performance in demanding environments. It operates at a voltage of 12 VDC and has a stall current of 11 AMPs, delivering a maximum power output of 14 Watts. The mounting geometry is designed for easy integration into various robotic systems, with a 28 mm bolt circle accommodating M3x0.5 bolts.
