The DFRobotShop Rover Chassis Kit is based on the popular DFRobotShop Rover but does not include any electronics. Instead of a fully-integrated PCB with Arduino, there is a durable black Lexan plate with mounting holes for an Arduino Uno, Arduino MEGA or Raspberry Pi. Hex standoffs and hardware to mount any of these three microcontrollers are included. There is an optional cutout for a standard sized HItec servo motor (HS-322, HS-422 etc). The SES mounting pattern is retained at the front. You can mount a 4xAA battery pack (not included) to the underside of the rover, and there are cutouts should you want to use your own velcro straps (for a LiPo battery or cargo for example).
There are no assembly instructions for this rover; please refer to the image below and to the video assembly guide for the DFRobotShop Rover. Note that the gear box must be assembled in configuration C. If you plan to mount an Arduino microcontroller, the left screw and nut (3mm) used to mount the Tamiya Twin Motor Gear Box needs to be replaced by the 4-40 x 1/2" socket head screw and hex standoff.
