The FingerTech 'Viper' Combat Robot Kit - Charger & Battery Option is an ideal entry point into the world of combat robotics, offering a comprehensive package for enthusiasts eager to engage in competitive robotics. This kit includes a robust custom-formed 6061-T6 Aluminum chassis, which provides ample strength and space for additional components and future upgrades. The kit is designed to be modified and upgraded, allowing users to enhance their robot with optional add-ons such as a Lifter or a Spinner once they have mastered the basics.

Equipped with two FingerTech 'Silver Spark' gearmotors and 2.25-inch foam wheels, the Viper kit ensures both speed and pushing power, essential for competitive performance. The inclusion of two FingerTech 'tinyESC' speed controllers facilitates the translation of radio receiver commands into motor movement, while also supplying 5V power to the radio. The polycarbonate combat armor is designed to protect the internal components during intense robotic battles.

The kit is recommended for individuals aged 10 and above, although children as young as six can participate with parental supervision. With a base weight of only 313 grams, the Viper kit leaves room for additional parts if competing in the Antweight class. The kit requires a transmitter and receiver, as well as a battery, which can be either a 9V or lipoly battery pack.
