The LIGPOWER Vtol Brushless Drone Motor 807 KV170 12S is an advanced propulsion system engineered for use in multirotor, fixed-wing, and VTOL drones. This motor is characterized by a KV value of 170, making it suitable for operation with a 12S battery, which ranges between 42 to 52 volts. The motor is designed to withstand high temperatures, featuring a magnet temperature resistance grade of Class E at 150℃ and stator technology that includes anti-rust treatment and high temperature-resisting coatings.

The motor's construction includes enamelled wires with a temperature resistance grade of Class C at 220℃, ensuring durability and performance under demanding conditions. It is configured with a 24N28P setup and has a coil withdraw voltage of 500V for 5 seconds. The motor's shaft diameter measures 12mm internally and 8mm externally, and it adheres to a rotor dynamic balance standard of less than or equal to 5mg. It is equipped with imported 6901ZZ bearings and has an IP rating of IP35, indicating a moderate level of protection against dust and water ingress.

The motor operates with an idle current of 3.0A at 18V and is compatible with the FLAME 180A 12S V2.0 electronic speed controller. It can handle a peak current of 150A continuously for 180 seconds and delivers a maximum power output of 6800W for the same duration. The motor weighs 650g, increasing to 800g when including cables, and has an internal resistance of 40mΩ. Recommended propellers for optimal performance include the G278, G289.2, and G29*9.5 models.
