The Sherline Laser Engraving Plate & XY Slide w/18″ Table (Metric) is a meticulously engineered component designed to enhance the functionality and versatility of laser engraving systems. This product features a robust tooling plate crafted from black anodized 6061 aluminum, measuring 8 inches by 18 inches by ¾ inch. It is specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with an 18-inch Industrial X/Y Slide, offering precision and reliability in various engraving applications.
The X/Y Slide provides a substantial range of motion, with 5 inches of travel along the Y-axis and 13.6 inches along the X-axis. The handwheels are finely calibrated, allowing for precise adjustments in increments of 0.01mm, ensuring meticulous control over the engraving process. This precision is crucial for achieving high-quality results in intricate engraving tasks.
The tooling plate is equipped with dual-purpose holes, strategically placed on 1-inch centers. These holes are threaded on the bottom and reamed on the top, allowing them to function as both part locating and clamping holes. This dual functionality enhances the plate's adaptability, making it suitable for a wide range of engraving setups. Additionally, the plate includes holes specifically positioned to accommodate Sherline's rotary table and tilting angle table, further expanding its utility.
