The Sherline Interchangeable Jaws, Aluminum (1" Set of 4) are designed to meet the needs of specialized gripping applications. These jaws are crafted from aluminum, a material chosen for its non-rusting properties, making them ideal for operations where rust transmission must be avoided. The jaws are part of a two-piece system, with the aluminum top jaws being interchangeable and attachable to hardened steel bottom master jaws.
These top jaws are .600 inches tall and are secured to the bottom jaws using two countersunk socket head screws. This design allows for customization, as the jaws can be machined to suit specific holding requirements. The aluminum material provides a balance of strength and non-corrosive properties, making it suitable for both delicate and robust applications.
Note: The bottom master jaws must be purchased separately to utilize the interchangeable top jaws.
