The Waveshare PoE UPS Base Board/Mini-Computer Designed for CM4, Gigabit Ethernet, Dual HDMI, Quad USB2.0 is an advanced solution for ensuring uninterrupted power supply to the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. This device is engineered to provide continuous power by simultaneously charging batteries and supplying power to the system. It seamlessly switches to battery power in the absence of an external power source, ensuring the system remains operational without interruption.

This base board is equipped with a CM4 socket compatible with all variants of the Compute Module 4, and it supports networking through a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 connector with an integrated PoE circuit. It features dual HDMI outputs capable of 4K 30fps video, four USB 2.0 ports, and a Raspberry Pi 40PIN GPIO header. Additionally, it includes an M.2 M KEY slot for NVME SSD or communication module connections, and supports display and camera interfaces via MIPI DSI and CSI-2 ports, respectively.

The board is designed with safety and stability in mind, incorporating protection circuits against overcharge, overcurrent, and short circuits. It allows real-time monitoring of battery metrics through I2C and includes a cooling fan for efficient heat dissipation. The device is housed in an aluminum alloy case and offers wall mount support for easy installation, making it suitable for industrial applications or projects requiring binocular vision.
