The AC adapters work great in an introduction to electronics class for adult students. I still use batteries for the first few practical labs, because they are an 'intuitive' power supply and we can't possibly cover transformer, AC\DC and voltage regulation topics on the very first day of the course. But once we cover the basics, these adapters really help to save on batteries and offer a real 5V supply for the microcontroller labs where the LCDs don't like working at 3.8V-4.5V that batteries supply.

Good .. but no instructions in French
The item works as expected and is simple. Unfortunately, like most of these products the documentation is non-existent in French.
