I noticed that the battery backup was available for the Litter-Robot 3 and purchased it because I worried about if the power goes out and the robot won’t work. It was easy to install and now we have peace of mind, the Robot will continue to be clean even when the power goes out!

Great investment!!! The few times there has been an electrical shortage at my home, the backup battery worked perfect.

Instructions about the serial number and wiring are a little fuzzy, but works like intended.
