The best choice for a Raspberry Pi
Typical 5V adapters do suffer from voltage drops which will reset your Raspberry Pi - it's very frustrating! It's definitely worth spending a little more to know that you'll have stable operation.

This 5VDC power supply puts out enough voltage and current for most raspberry pi projects; however, the switching power supply generates alot of noise and it is not recommend for software defined radio (SDR) projects.
