This sensor worked really well, it came in pretty quickly. Very slight hysteresis, though I think it is more mechanical than electrical (it stretches slightly quicker than it returns to un-stretched length, though not visually perceptible, you see a little more lag in return.) Though it is not perfectly linear with stretch length, it worked fine being approximated as linear. Overall, the sensor performed its job very well, and was reliable and easy to use. I think that the price was a little bit high for what it likely cost to produce, but at the same time I would buy it again.
