I've used a bunch of these, mostly for driving 12V LED bulbs for SuzzoHapp push button back-lights. Great for when PWM isn't needed and saving pins is. For one project I used two of them attached to one Arduino (selectable I2C address is great). Love them. I also appreciate the status LEDs. If I don't have 8 things to drive, I'll often use the extra status LEDs to show the status of other things. I also love the "N-Drive Shield" when I have 6 or less things to drive, pin usage isn't as critical, if I need PWM or more current.
