Ken, It only works with Rogers in Canada because they still use the 850mhz GSM band for voice calls. Bell and Telus switched over to LTE for both voice and data. It may be best to get the LTE module since you don't know when the GSM bands with cease.

Very Good
Fast and reliable module. Software power and reset is a good feature. If you're using an Arduino Mega, look carefully pin connection. The module is used through serial AT commands. It's quite easy to program.

doesn't work with Telus/Kodoo networks in Canada
I purchased 2 of these units, But they will not connect to Telus or Koodo networks in Canada. Tried both with a number of different unlocked sim cards that do work in cell phones

Cell radio works well
Have purchased 8 units so far, all are working well. Only improvement would be to have them work with major Canadian carriers like Telus and Bell. Works well on the Rogers network , but Rogers doesn't have as much service area as Telus and Bell

works with rogers in canada
I recently gave this unit a zero as it would not connect with telus or koodo , but it does connect with rogers. It would be nice if future units/firmware would work with telus as their network is larger in canada
