It is sometimes complex to operate other 'sensors' of this kind, but these are well documented on Utube and work well.

By buying this I thought that I would get a sensor that would deliver 0-3v, depending on ground moisture. I am currently using a competitor product that does just that but for a much higher price. When measuring the output, in the air and in the water, I never get the 0-3v range. I understand that this might be a calibration thing but then, if you want to use the sensor just with a relay board (no arduino, no programming). Just reading the voltage. Why don't I get that range ?
