SparkFun Slip Ring While it seems expensive for what you get, it's actually pretty well built. However, you should not exceed the 250rpm soft limit and keep to a light duty cycle. If you project is expected to exceed those specs you should look at a more industrial version like those from Moflow or similar. If you compare the price of a Moflow unit to Sparkfun's hobby priced unit, the Sparkfun Slip Ring is actually a pretty good deal.
