All products sold by RobotShop are of good quality and are considered as being reliable. On the other hand, RobotShop warns against their use in an application, in a medical tool or system, in any domestic, commercial or industrial product where an error could result in harm or even death of a human being or an animal.

The primary responsibility for the use or operation of a robot (or its technology) in the presence of human beings falls on the user.

Cancelling an Order

You can cancel items or orders that haven't yet entered the shipping process by contacting us ASAP via the RobotShop Support Center or by dialing +81(0)88 660 7277. We will verify the status of your order and make any necessary changes without any charge. We will verify the status of your order and make sure that it is not subject to any fees. 

Restocking fees up to 20% may apply for special orders and large quantity order cancellations, if a purchase has already been processed specifically for you with the manufacturer.

We put a lot of effort into delivering our products rapidly therefore, it may happen that your order has already entered the shipping process when you contact us. If this should occur and you still wish to return a product, please refer to the Returns section.

RobotShop reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in cases where an account has an outstanding balance.

RobotShop Inc. does offer discounts for most products with quantity purchase. Discounted prices are indicated on the website.

If you require multiple items and the total is over ¥100,000 please ask for a quotation and we will determine if a discount can be provided or not. At that time, the nature of your order, any repeat business and the possibility of an ongoing partnership will all be evaluated in order to offer you the best possible price.


The warranty conditions are those offered by the manufacturers. You may communicate with RobotShop or directly with the manufacturer. RobotShop is a reseller of many products and is not responsible in any case for the failure of a product manufactured by another company.

However, in the spirit of always wanting to better serve its clients, RobotShop is willing to serve as an intermediary to exchange and communicate with the manufacturer in order to ensure that the client receives a satisfying service for which he paid. Along these lines, RobotShop does not tolerate suppliers that do not take responsibility for their defective products.

Robot Kits:
It is important to note that Robot kits  may not be exchanged or refunded once they are assembled in part or in entirety. Only defective components will be replaced if the need arises. Along these lines, please carefully read the construction instructions for the robot and ensure that they are understood before commencing construction. Work carefully on a clean table and take regular breaks in order to maintain your concentration. Our manufacturers provide the necessary instructions for proper construction of their robot kits but can not be held responsible for mistakes made by the builder.

Specialized Components:
The same goes for all specialized components and robot parts . All products sent back to RobotShop on warranty will be inspected in order to determine if the problem was caused by a manufacturing problem and not improper use.

Payment Methods

Credit card: In order to pay by credit card, you will be required to enter your credit card number with the date of expiry once you reach Checkout. We accept Visa and MasterCard. If you would like more information concerning our secure payment method, please read the Security & Privacy section. If you are not comfortable making a payment online, you can reach us by phone (at +81(0)88 660 7277) or by fax (at +81(0)88 660 7278) and use your credit card that way.

We do perform screening checks for all credit card transactions. Please make sure your address and phone number match those associated with your credit card statement in order to avoid any delays. The majority of the orders can be processed and confirmed the same day. If we have questions or need a confirmation, we will contact you.

Paypal: It is also possible to pay via PayPal. You can choose this method directly during the online payment process. Please note that payments made through Paypal are processed immediately, even if we can't ship immediately (because the item is out of stock for example). If you would like to be charged only when we ship your order, we suggest paying directly via Credit Card instead of PayPal.

Wire Transfer: It is also possible to make a wire transfer directly to RobotShop's bank account. You can choose this method directly during the online payment process. The products ordered will be reserved for you for a period of 7 days, while we wait for your payment.

COD: Cash on delivery is accepted for orders shipped within Japan (Credit cards are not accepted at delivery). This payment method can be selected during checkout.

Our prices may vary or change slightly, without notice, in function of price changes from our suppliers or manufacturers. Our prices may contain typographical errors. If such an error should occur, we reserve the right either to honour that price, inform the customer of the reason for such an error and correct the situation by asking the customer whether the order should stand at the revised price or be cancelled.

Price Match

  • The item submitted for price match must be in stock at the competitor at the time the request is submitted.
  • The item submitted for price match must be the exact same brand, vendor part number, model number, and colour as the competitor’s item.
  • The item submitted for price match must be in the same currency and come from the same country as the competitor’s item.
  • RobotShop has the right to reject or refuse any Price Match request or orders submitted upon checkout. While we make every attempt to match a competitor's price when a price match is requested, in some cases we cannot match competitor's prices. In the event we cannot match a competitor's price to a Price Match request, we may contact you with our lowest price.
  • Please allow 24 hours for Price Match approval or rejection. A customer service representative will contact you for any Price Match rejections.
  • In the event we refuse your price match request, you will be able to choose to order the product at regular price or our best price. If we do not receive an answer from you within 5 working days, we will assume that you do not want this item at the regular price, and we will ship the rest of your order (if applicable).
  • In the event that other products are ordered at the same time as a product sent for Price Match, the entire order will be shipped at the same time unless a partial shipment is requested upon checkout.
  • Once the requested price match has been accepted, it is no longer possible to edit an order. Please contact us to make any changes to your order and we will use our best efforts to modify the order as needed before it ships.
  • Price Match does not apply to advertising errors, misprints, institutional pricing, bid pricing, after-rebate pricing, coupons, bonus offers, limited quantity offers, refurbished products, open-box pricing, clearance specials, close-out sales, bankruptcy sales, bonus offers product bundles or special financing offers.
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities per customer.
  • Price Match cannot be used in conjunction with other RobotShop promotions (Coupons, Free gifts, Special offers).
  • Shipping as well as warranties cannot be price matched and are considered value added services.

Price Match lets you match the price of any item sold and shipped by RobotShop with a competitor's price! Enter the competitor's price and the url where you found it and we will do our best to match this competitor's price.

If you are not satisfied with a product you bought at RobotShop, for whatever reason, it is possible to return it for refund within 30 days of receipt. You must first advise us by submitting a ticket. RobotShop will provide you with a RMA number. No returns will be accepted without having previously obtained a RMA number. The product must then be returned in its original packaging (in perfect condition for resale) with its receipt and a small note for the reason of the return and your RMA number. The note will help us to serve you better and improve our products. Reimbursement will be denied for any products which do not conform to the abovementioned conditions.

Build-it-yourself robot kits are not refundable once assembled. Robot parts requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way. All sales of robotic software and apps are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Returns are not accepted on Special Order and Clearance Items except when they are found defective, in which case the product may be repaired or replaced at RobotShop's discretion. Re-stocking fees may apply if you are returning a large quantity of the same product that was ordered specifically for you with the manufacturer.

Please note that all items will be reimbursed within 7 days of receiving the product (shipping fees excluded). You must also cover the cost of returning the product. Shipping fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Cleaning fees (¥10000) may also be charged if a domestic robot is returned and has not been properly cleaned.

RobotShop insists on reassuring you about the security of our transactional Web site. All payments made on our site by credit card are processed via proven tokenization techniques by CyberSource.

CyberSource uses payment tokenization eliminating payment data and ensuring that your sensitive personal information isn't compromised during a security breach.

All information sent to your bank, such as your credit card number, are also encrypted according to industry standards. To ensure client confidentiality, CyberSource will never sell, rent or divulge any of the personal information taken from the transactions to any entity other than RobotShop and your bank, in the case of any disagreement concerning your transactions. RobotShop would also like to assure you that any personal information gathered in the membership section is subject to strict confidentiality. Email Address:

When you place an order at RobotShop, your email address is also collected in order to send you a copy of your invoice and a tracking number during delivery of your purchase. This email address is also conserved in our database in order to serve you better. If you also register for the RobotShop newsletter, your email will also be used to send you the monthly RobotShop news.

If you want to know the shipping cost to your location, add the items you want to order to your cart. You will be able to calculate your shipping rates directly in your cart with the option Estimate Shipping and Tax. This is fast and easy. We usually handle all orders within 24 hours. If the item is not in stock, you will be informed before ordering.

You are able to choose between standard shipping and cash on delivery for Japan and a standard delivery service for other Countries.

Shipping in Japan: RobotShop offers free standard shipping for all orders over ¥10,000 which are shipped everywhere within Japan. Packages are delivered within 1-3 days depending on the destination.

There are no duties, taxes and/or custom fees charged in Japan upon delivery. For shipment to other countries duties, taxes and/or custom fees may apply and vary from country to country. You are responsible for paying these fees. See our Taxes Conditions for more information.

Shipping Organization


10% Tax will be added to all orders delivered in Japan. Our website indicates pricing both including and excluding taxes. There are therefore no duties, taxes and/or custom fees charged in Japan upon delivery.

These taxes do not apply for orders outside of Japan but you may have duties, taxes and/or custom fees charged upon delivery. These fees vary from country to country. You are responsible for paying these fees. If you refuse to pay them upon delivery, your package will be returned to us. Upon receipt, we will refund your product (minus shipping fees for both ways). For more information, we strongly advise you to check with the Customs department in your country about its import policies.
