Works great

Using these with 4x AAA batteries to deliver about 500mA to a device. Gets hot but that's to be expected. Note that using fewer than 4 AA/A cells keeps it from being able to deliver that kind of output power.

Perfect to get 9V from battery pack

Produce a steady 9V from lower voltage source like lipo battery pack. Low price and low current drain when idle makes it a good product. Note that closer to 9V the input, the closer to 1400mA you will have on the output.
