The Ai-Thinker NodeMCU-VC-01-KIT Offline Speech Recognition Module is a development board specifically designed for the VC-01 module. This development board incorporates a CH340C serial port to USB chip, which offers a basic debugging interface and a USB upgrade interface.
It also features a wake-up light and a cooling lamp, providing status indication and control instructions, thereby simplifying the debugging of control functions.
The VC-01 module is a cost-effective, purely offline speech recognition module developed by Shenzhen Ai-Thinker Technology Co., Ltd. The module utilizes the US516P6 voice chip, launched by Unisound, and continuously innovates and optimizes speech recognition technology algorithms. The offline recognition algorithm and chip architecture are deeply integrated to offer ultra-affordable offline speech recognition solutions.
This module can be extensively and swiftly implemented in various applications such as smart homes, a variety of smart small household appliances, boxes, toys, lamps, and other products that require voice control.
Kernel: The device has a 32-bit RISC core running at 240 MHz. It supports DSP instruction set and FPU floating point operation unit
FFT Accelerator: The device supports up to 1024-point complex FFT/IFFT operations or 2048-point real FFT/IFFT operations
Unisound Customized Speech Algorithm Operator: The device is equipped with this feature
Storage: The device has built-in 242 KB high-speed SRAM and 2 MB FLASH
Audio Input and Output: The device supports flexible configuration with 1.8/2.8/3.3V IO. It has 1 analog Mic input with SNR≥94db. It also supports dual-channel DAC output and both Chinese and English voice commands
Power Supply and Clock: The device supports 5V power input. It has built-in 5V to 3.3V and 3.3V to 1.2V LDO to power the chip. It uses RC 12 MHz clock source and PLL locked loop clock source. It also has built-in POR (Power on Reset), low voltage detection, and watchdog
Peripheral: All GPIOs can be configured as external interrupt input and wake-up source. The device has one full-duplex UART with a maximum rate of 3 Mbps. It also supports I2C DAC PWM and multiple interfaces
SDK: The device provides a complete RTOS SDK. It supports fast and convenient UART, I2C, and other control protocol development

If you are not satisfied with a product purchased from the Site, you may request a return within 30 days from the delivery date, unless the product is listed under the Return Exceptions below or is subject to specific return conditions noted on the product page.
Returns under this policy concern non-defective products. In the case of a confirmed manufacturing defect, remedies are handled under the Warranty terms, at RoboItchi's discretion. See the Warranty section.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a refund under the 30-day return policy, all of the following conditions must be met:
A valid Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained prior to returning the product. Returns without an RA number will be refused.
The RA number is valid for 30 days. The returned item must be received within that period.
The RA number must be included with the return.
Products must be returned in unused, unmodified condition (e.g., no scratches, alterations, missing parts, or signs of installation/use) and in their original packaging, suitable for resale.
Shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of a product confirmed defective through RoboItchi's troubleshooting process or of a verified shipping error by RoboItchi.
Refunds are processed within 7 days after receipt and inspection of the returned item.
A ¥10,000 cleaning fee may apply to domestic robots returned in used or unclean condition.
A 20% restocking fee may apply to large-quantity returns of items ordered specifically for the customer from the manufacturer or not part of RoboItchi's standard inventory.
Return Exceptions
The following products are not eligible for return or refund under this policy:
Used, damaged, or modified products — Items that show signs of use, wear, or alteration, making them unsuitable for resale.
Consumables — Use and wear-and-tear components, altered or depleted through use (e.g., batteries, belts, brushes, gears, filament, tires, disposable bags, lubricants, greases, waxes, etc.). Not eligible for return once opened or used.
Perishables — Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. Not eligible for return.
Sealed goods (health or hygiene) — Items sealed for health-protection or hygiene reasons (e.g., masks, gloves, odor-absorbing products). Not eligible for return once unsealed.
Build-it-yourself products and items requiring customer assembly — Including robots & kits, robot parts, and other products requiring assembly or soldering. Not eligible for return once assembled, soldered, or installed.
Digital Goods, Software, and Apps — Final sale only, due to licensing restrictions.
Clearance Items — Products identified as clearance or final sale, including end-of-life or discontinued items.
Custom-made, personalized, or special-order items — Products manufactured, configured, adapted, or built to the customer's own specifications and requirements.
On-Demand Items — Standard catalogue products not stocked by RoboItchi and ordered specifically to fulfill a customer request.
