The AndyMark EVO Shifter Short Hex Shaft, StageA 3 - 32.74:1 Ratio 2:1, StageB 3 - 45.33:1 Ratio 2:1 represents a significant advancement in shifting transmission gearboxes. This two-speed, shift-on-the-fly gearbox is designed with an improved 4-tooth dog shifting method, allowing for smooth and efficient operation. It accommodates two CIM or NEO motors and can be configured with either two or three interior stages, offering flexibility in performance. The gearbox is shipped assembled, though motors are not installed.

Significant improvements have been made over previous models, including a robust 1/8" diameter shoulder screw and a dog gear made from AMPCO® 18 Bronze, which provides added lubricity. The shift block assembly is enhanced with a larger bearing and threaded steel housing, contributing to its durability. The input stage utilizes 32 DP gears and a 15-tooth pinion gear, enabling a high first stage reduction of 85:15. Users can independently select high and low ratios, and the gearbox supports various encoder options, including the US Digital E4T.

The EVO Shifter employs a pneumatic shift method, powered by a spring-extend pneumatic cylinder, allowing for seamless shifting even during acceleration or deceleration. The gearbox features aggressive weight reduction, with machined gears and plates, and is compatible with an AM14U family chassis or a 2"x1" box tube frame. The optional third stage provides additional ratio choices, enhancing its versatility.
