The AndyMark Lamprey2 Absolute Encoder Magnet is an innovative 10-bit absolute encoder developed in collaboration with 221 Systems. It is designed with a large hollow bore, making it ideal for applications such as swerve drive steering and arm joints, where direct output measurement is required without being at the shaft end.
This encoder features a custom PCB with sensor elements and a specially designed ring magnet that can be mounted on the flange of 1.125" OD bearings. The magnet can be attached to any rotating surface or integrated into a custom 3D-printed hub, and it can be sensed from either side of the board.
