BlueRobotics M200 Standard Motor w/ 1m Cable
Specifically designed for harsh oceanic conditions
Versatile for use on USVs, AUVs, and custom projects
Features a flooded three-phase brushless motor
Operates optimally at 16v, but can handle a range of voltages
The BlueRobotics M200 Standard Motor w/ 1m Cable is a subsea motor specifically designed to function optimally in harsh oceanic conditions. It shares the same performance characteristics as the T200 Thruster, but lacks a nozzle, making it an ideal choice for use on Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs), Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), and a variety of custom projects such as actuators and subsea tooling.
This motor is essentially a variant of the T200 Thruster, tailored for more generic applications. When equipped with a propeller, it serves as an excellent propulsor for USVs and Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs). However, its versatility allows it to be utilized in the construction of subsea tooling, driving a gear-train, and a myriad of other applications limited only by imagination.
The M200 Motor, like the T200 Thruster, is a flooded three-phase brushless motor. The motor stator is encapsulated and electrically isolated from the water, while the magnet rotor is coated and constructed from stainless steel, enhancing its resistance to seawater corrosion. The motor employs high-performance water-lubricated plastic bushings and is water-cooled, with water flowing through the motor for optimal cooling.
The base of the M200 Motor features four M3 mounting holes, providing secure installation in a wide array of applications. The standard version of this motor is equipped with a 1-meter long cable. A sensorless brushless electronic speed controller (ESC) is necessary for the operation of the motor in all situations. The motor is optimized to run at a voltage of 16v, such as a 4s lithium-ion battery pack, but can operate within a range of voltages.
Please note that the operation of the motor is identical to the thruster. For more information on how to operate the motor, refer to any thruster application guides.
