Nice kit

Really well thought out. Each lesson in the workbook has a drawing of the circuits you need to build. Just put the metal plate that comes with the kit beneath the page, fill in the lines with the conductive ink pen, and place the modules on the page right were it says to. The magnets in them will keep them stuck to the page thanks to the metal plate under it. I wish there had been more lessons. It only took my 11 year old two or three "sittings" totalling no more than two hours to work through the little workbook. And a couple of the lessons require parts that aren't included in this kit. But he enjoyed it and it kept his interest. With more encouragement and a bit of parental participation we should be able to get more use out of this kit. We still have lots of ink in the pen. The ink has a fairly high resistance: thick short lines work best. More like colouring a colouring book than drawing. We sometimes had trouble getting a good connection through the ink and had to wiggle and slide some modules to find that spot where the ink was thick enough to provide good contact. Maybe we were a little too conservative with our ink usage.
