The Devantech USB-RLY08C - 8 Channel USB Relay is a sophisticated device designed for efficient power management and control via a USB interface. This relay board features eight premium ultra-low power 50mW coil relays, ensuring minimal current consumption of less than 100mA even when all relays are activated. It is powered directly from a standard USB bus, making it highly convenient for integration into various systems. The relays can handle currents up to 1 Amp at 30VDC or 60VAC, 500mA at 110VAC, and 250mA at 250VAC, providing versatile application possibilities.
The device includes screw terminals for Normally Open (N/O), Normally Closed (N/C), and Common contacts, facilitating secure and reliable connections. The USB-RLY08C is an updated version of the now-obsolete USB-RLY08B, featuring an improved USB footprint on the PCB for better compatibility with multiple manufacturers, while maintaining full functional equivalence as a drop-in replacement.
