The DFRobot TS01 Non-Contact Analog Infrared Temperature Sensor (-70℃~380℃, IP65, 4-20mA) is a sophisticated thermal sensor designed to measure the infrared intensity of objects to determine their surface temperature without physical contact. It features built-in temperature compensation to ensure high accuracy in temperature measurement. Encased in an all-metal package, the sensor is robust, offering protection against impact, water, and dust. This durability, combined with stable output data, allows the sensor to outperform many similar products available.
Calibrated across a wide temperature range, the sensor operates effectively between -40℃ and 85℃, measuring temperatures from -70℃ to 380℃ with a maximum accuracy of 0.5°C. It outputs a 4-20mA standard industrial current signal, and a current-to-voltage converter is recommended for MCU readings. The sensor includes an optical filter that cuts off visible and near-infrared radiant flux, providing immunity to ambient and sunlight interference. With a narrow field of view of 5°, it can measure a heat source with a 10cm diameter from a distance of up to 116cm.
