The Elecrow 1.44 inch TFT Display IPS SPI HD 65k Full Color LCD Module ST7735S is a compact display module that boasts a resolution of 128 (RGB) x 128. This module features an IPS full-viewing angle LCD panel, ensuring vibrant and accurate colors from any viewing direction. The module is driven by the ST7735S driver IC, which utilizes a standard 8-pin SPI interface.
The module employs TFT-LCD liquid crystal display technology, a variant of thin film transistor liquid crystal display, renowned for its true color representation. Each pixel in a TFT liquid crystal display is provided with a semiconductor switch, allowing for direct and independent control of each pixel. This not only enhances the response speed of the display screen but also allows for precise control over the display color level. As a result, the TFT LCD color appears more realistic, with excellent brightness, high contrast, a strong sense of layering, and vibrant colors.
The module includes several pins for various functions, including Ground, Power, Serial Clock, Serial Data input, LCM Reset, Data/Command Control, Chip Select, and Backlight Control. The LCM Reset Pin is a reset signal input that initiates the initialization of the chip when the pin is low. It is recommended to keep this pin high during normal operation.
