Equipped with two FingerTech "Silver Spark" gearmotors and 2.25-inch foam wheels, the Viper kit ensures both speed and effective pushing power, essential for competitive performance. The inclusion of two FingerTech "tinyESC" speed controllers allows for precise translation of radio receiver commands into motor movements, while also supplying 5V power to the radio system. The polycarbonate combat armor is designed to protect the internal components during intense robotic battles.

The kit is designed for modification and upgrade, encouraging users to saw, drill, and enhance their robot as they see fit. It is recommended for individuals aged 10 and above, although younger enthusiasts aged 6 and above can also participate with parental supervision. The base weight of the robot is 313 grams, allowing for additional parts to be added if competing in the Antweight class.

Note: Transmitter and receiver are required for operation, and the Viper can be powered by either a 9V battery or lipoly battery packs.

Great bot especially for someone just starting out in the hobby

Love the bot! I had no problem whatsoever (other than handling small parts) assembling it. Currently, I'm having to research how to get my controller to navigate the bot the way I want it to (right now it's not very intuitive), but it's fabulous.

Not bad, feels a bit underwhelming

It goes together well, metal and motors are good. The wheel and coupler mechanical system is weak though. They are designed to take hits, but are made of a soft foam. Also slides along the front lower face, no bearing or even plastic to minimize friction. Overall a low level design. I upgraded the wheels and threw on some UHMW, now its alright.
