This kit is equipped with over 2,500 built-in integrations and is compatible with hundreds of thousands of devices and services, making it an indispensable tool for modern homes.
The device comes with a pre-installed Raspberry Pi CM4 module, which boasts 2GB RAM and 16GB eMMC storage, ensuring smooth and efficient operation. The Home Assistant OS is also pre-installed, providing a ready-to-use experience for users.
The Home Assistant Yellow Kit is not just a hub; it's a powerful automation tool. It offers an automation editor, enabling users to create intelligent environments, whether it's a room, a building, or even a park.
The kit is equipped with the latest Zigbee radio chip from Silicon Labs, ensuring forward compatibility with the upcoming Matter smart home connectivity standard. It also features an M.2 expansion port for an NVMe SSD hard drive, allowing users to expand the available storage space as needed.
The device is designed with a variety of ports for connectivity, including a gigabit Ethernet, two USB 2.0 Type-A host ports, and one USB-C 2.0 device port. It also features a high-quality stereo audio DAC with a 2V RMS line out on a 3.5mm audio jack for superior audio output.
Please note that the version of CM4 (CM4002016) on the board does not come equipped with wireless capabilities.
