The IceWerx iCE40-HX8K FPGA Kit is a versatile and user-friendly module designed for seamless integration into various projects. It features an iCE40 HX FPGA with 7680 logic cells, 128k bits of embedded RAM, and two PLLs. The kit includes an onboard PIC16LF1459 microcontroller that manages USB programming, FPGA reset, and start-up processes, while also providing four 10-bit analogue input channels accessible via a serial port to the FPGA. Additionally, the PIC generates a 12MHz clock for the FPGA, which can be multiplied using a PLL as needed. The module is powered through USB or a nominal 5 volts, ensuring flexibility in power supply options. By handling multiple power supply requirements, sequencing, and bitstream support, the IceWerx iCE40-HX8K FPGA Kit simplifies the integration process, making it an ideal choice for developers.
