The Mecabot TX (JP) is the first of the Mecabot family of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) that have been designed primarily for indoor use as service robots. For those looking to develop their own prototype robots the Mecabot provides an ideal starting platform and within the 4 models in the series offers varying levels of performance.

However, common features include LiDAR and a depth camera, which in conjunction with 4 omnidirectional mecanum wheels provide excellent navigational properties whilst being versatile and flexible. With a payload of 15 kg, the Mecabot is the smallest of the family, whilst the Mecabot Pro has an upgraded payload of 35kg, whereas both the Mecabot Plus and Mecabot X can carry an impressive 60kg.

Sitting at the top of the tree, the Mecabot X is the only one of the four to come with a full metal enclosure and also boasts 4 I/O interfaces with high-quality software. In addition, the Mecabot X comes supplied with extensive user manuals and tutorials and, to assist you with your own development projects also comes with sample codes for ROS, the operating system which is present in the whole family.

Mecabot X is expandable, accommodating robotic arms, LCD screens, and similar accessories, and thus can be successfully utilized for a wide range of applications including service and transport, inspection, surveillance, and mobile vision capture, and can happily collaborate within a system of other robots or drones. Whether for ROS learning and research or for your own product development, Mecabot X provides the perfect solution.
