The Monk Makes Squid Button Latching Individual is a latching push switch featuring a click-on and click-off mechanism. It comes with trailing leads that terminate in female header sockets, making it compatible with GPIO pins on devices such as Raspberry Pi, Node MCU, or Raspberry Pi Pico. To minimize the risk of accidental short-circuits, each button is equipped with a built-in 470Ω resistor.
This resistor does not impact the switching action when connected to a GPIO input but ensures that the Raspberry Pi remains protected if the switch is inadvertently connected across power connections.
