Controls the position, velocity and acceleration of one bipolar stepper motor
Connects directly to a computer's USB port
Requires an external 10 to 30VDC power supply
RoHS Compliant
The PhidgetStepper Bipolar Stepper Motor Controller allows you to control the position, velocity, and acceleration of one bipolar stepper motor. It can be used in applications that require very precise positioning. This is also the product you want to use to control larger industrial steppers or for applications that need a lot of torque.
Features
Controls the position, velocity, and acceleration of 1 bipolar stepper motor
Provides very precise positioning
Board is isolated from USB to prevent ground loops
On-board fuse protects board from over-current conditions
The PhidgetStepper Controller is a great product. We used three of them to control an auto microscope. We used their C# examples and had no problem incorporating into our code. Their service was excellent because we called them for help.

Good software and hardware, very flexible.
I'm using 5 of these steppers for two research based machines. I like the excellent software which is available for Linux and all the other major platforms. The hardware is excellent in my experience so far. I wish the boards had limit switch inputs, but stopping them under software control is fast and easy, yet requires additional digital input hardware. I accidentally applied the motor voltage backwards to one board and the board survived.

Extremely flexible stepper driver.
This module, although not cheap, provides a very effective drive module for stepper motors, including micro stepping. The ability to set velocity, acceleration and drive current for instance allow very efficient control of motors. Easy to drive using the Phidgets library of code modules.
