The Pololu 15:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor LP 6V w/ 12 CPR Encoder, Side Connector is a compact and efficient brushed DC motor designed for precise control applications. It features a robust metal gearbox with a cross section of 10×12 mm and a D-shaped output shaft measuring 9 mm in length and 3 mm in diameter. This gearmotor is equipped with an integrated two-channel incremental Hall effect encoder, which accurately detects the rotation of a magnetic disk attached to the motor shaft. The encoder provides a resolution of 12 counts per revolution, enhancing the motor's precision in various applications.
The encoder is connected via a 6-pin JST SH-style male connector, compatible with corresponding cables and connector boards. This particular model features a side connector orientation, which is perpendicular to the motor, offering flexibility in installation and integration into different systems.
