The Pololu 15:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor MP 6V w/ 12 CPR Encoder, Back Connector is a compact and efficient brushed DC motor designed for precise control applications. It features a robust metal gearbox with a cross-section of 10×12 mm and a D-shaped output shaft measuring 9 mm in length and 3 mm in diameter. This gearmotor is equipped with a two-channel incremental Hall effect encoder, which accurately detects the rotation of a magnetic disk attached to the motor shaft's rear protrusion. The encoder provides a resolution of 12 counts per revolution, enhancing the motor's precision in various applications.
The gearmotor operates at a medium power level of 6V and is fitted with precious metal brushes, ensuring reliable performance. It boasts a gear ratio of 15.25:1, utilizing durable brass plates for enhanced durability. The encoder is connected via a 6-pin JST SH-style male connector, compatible with corresponding cables and connector boards. The back connector orientation aligns parallel to the motor, facilitating streamlined integration into systems.
