The Pololu 15V, 500mA Step-Down Voltage Regulator D24V5F15 efficiently converts higher input voltages up to 36 V to a stable 15 V output. This switching regulator is ideal for low-power applications, featuring a power-save mode for enhanced efficiency at light loads. It includes over-current and short-circuit protection, as well as thermal shutdown to prevent overheating. The regulator is designed for easy integration with prototyping setups, offering compatibility with solderless breadboards and connectors. Note: The board lacks reverse-voltage protection and may require additional components to manage voltage spikes.
