ServoCity 2x40A Motor Controller
Handles continuous 40A current per channel
Equipped with temperature and voltage protections
Fits seamlessly with goBILDA® 8mm grid
Supplies power through an XT90 connector
Accepts PWM signals from various devices
The ServoCity 2x40A Motor Controller is a dual-channel device designed to proportionally manage the speed and direction of up to two Saturn Planetary Gear Motors per channel. It is engineered to handle a continuous current of 40A per channel, with a peak capacity of 50A. The controller is equipped with advanced safety features, including temperature, current, and reverse-voltage protections, ensuring reliable operation. Status LEDs provide real-time feedback on signal reception and any potential errors related to current, voltage, or temperature. The design includes a signal arm zone to prevent unintended motion, and its compact form factor allows for easy integration into various projects. The aluminum heatsink serves as a mounting base, featuring M4 threaded holes compatible with the goBILDA® 8mm grid pattern for seamless attachment to other components. Power is supplied through an XT90 connector, accommodating a voltage range of 9-30V, and can be sourced from any suitable battery. The controller accepts PWM servo-signals from an RC receiver, Arduino, or similar devices, with a built-in BEC providing 6.2V and up to 6A to power servos and other devices without requiring an additional battery. The motor controller's output is facilitated through bullet connectors, allowing for flexible wiring configurations to power multiple motors, provided the current limit per channel is not exceeded. Note: Ensure proper handling to avoid exceeding current limits and adhere to safety guidelines to prevent damage or injury.
