The ServoCity Heavy-Duty Linear Servo (Position Control, 12-24V, 33lb Thrust, 1.7"/sec, 12" Stroke) is a sophisticated device engineered to respond to PWM signals, offering seamless integration with various servo controllers without the need for additional tuning or wiring. This linear servo is equipped with an advanced internal circuit board that accepts PWM signals from a wide range of controllers, including wired servo controllers, wireless transmitters, and microcontrollers like Arduino.

Its closed-loop feedback system ensures precise control by driving the servo to any position within its stroke range, utilizing an internal potentiometer for accurate position feedback. The device is powered through a male XT30 connector requiring a 12V input with a minimum of 5A, and it efficiently supplies power to both the servo and the controller through a shared power source.

Constructed with metal for enhanced durability, the linear servo is capable of replacing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, providing robust linear thrust via an ACME screw mechanism. This design allows it to handle significant static loads without back-driving, even when power is removed. The servo can operate in any orientation, delivering equal force in both pulling and pushing directions. It features a fixed mounting clevis near the motor and a rotatable clevis on the extension tube for versatile application requirements.
