The ServoCity Heavy-Duty Linear Servo (Position Control, 12-24V, 33lb Thrust, 1.7"/sec, 2" Stroke) is a sophisticated device engineered to respond to PWM signals, distinguishing it from traditional linear actuators that require a motor controller with feedback capabilities. This linear servo is designed for seamless integration with a servo controller, eliminating the need for additional tuning or complex wiring. Its advanced internal circuit board is compatible with a wide range of servo controllers, including wired, wireless, and microcontroller-based systems like Arduino. The closed-loop feedback mechanism ensures precise control over the extension tube's position by continuously monitoring the internal potentiometer's readings and adjusting the motor's power accordingly. The device is powered through a male XT30 connector, requiring a 12V input with a minimum of 5A, and it efficiently shares power with the servo controller via a 5V (500mA) feed.
