The SparkFun IoT RedBoard - RP2350 integrates the Raspberry Pi RP2350 microcontroller with the RM2 radio module, offering a robust wireless development platform in an Arduino R4 form factor. This board features integrated battery power and charging circuits, a microSD card slot, and a Qwiic connector. It also includes a 22-pin ribbon cable connector linked to the RP2350's high-speed transmit pins, providing flexibility in connection options.

The RP2350 microcontroller is equipped with a dual-core, dual-architecture configuration, allowing users to choose between Arm Cortex-M33 cores, Hazard3 RISC-V cores, or a combination of both, operating at up to 150 MHz. This variant includes 48 GPIO pins, eight analog inputs, and multiple communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, and I2C, along with USB support.

The RM2 radio module supports WiFi 4 and Bluetooth 5.2, with capabilities for both standard and enhanced data rates. The board is equipped with 16MB of external Flash and 8MB of PSRAM, connected via the QSPI interface, and supports programming in C, MicroPython, and Arduino.
