The Sparkfun RFM69HCW Wireless Transceiver - 915MHz is an adaptable radio module operating in the unlicensed ISM band, ideal for creating cost-effective short-range wireless networks for applications such as home automation and citizen science. It can transmit up to 100mW and 300kbps, with adjustable settings to optimize range and power consumption. The module communicates via SPI with a host microcontroller and supports up to 256 networks with 255 nodes each, featuring AES encryption for data security. Two versions are available: 915MHz for the Americas and 434MHz for Europe, Asia, and Africa.
