Description

  • TransducerM Z-Axis Gyroscope TM210-G/GP for AGV & Robotics (Compact)
  • Precise 360-degree Yaw angle
  • Robust, vibration-resistant design
  • Dual communication ports
  • Low energy consumption
  • Compact 35x35x24 mm size

The TransducerM Z-Axis Gyroscope TM210-G/GP for AGV & Robotics (Compact) is a meticulously designed Z-Axis gyroscope that provides calibrated angular rate and Yaw angle outputs, making it an ideal component for inertial guidance systems in Autonomous Guided Vehicles or for standalone mechanical sensing and control applications. The TM210-G and TM210-GP models are distinguished by their ability to deliver precise Yaw angle measurements across a full 360-degree range and Z-axis rotation rates, which can be expressed in either radians per second or degrees per second.

These gyroscopes are equipped with a configuration GUI known as ImuAssistant, which facilitates setting adjustments and data logging. They boast a robust design that prioritizes cost-effectiveness without compromising on performance. The TM210-G model is particularly resistant to vibrations and maintains a stable bias, whereas the TM210-GP variant offers heightened sensitivity but is more susceptible to damage from sudden shocks and impacts.

The TransducerM TM210-G/GP series is characterized by its exceptional accuracy, benefiting from thermal compensation and factory calibration. However, it is important to note that these models do not offer tilt compensation. For applications requiring 3D sensing capabilities, alternative products with such features are available.

In terms of performance, the TM210-G/GP series showcases minimal typical yaw drift, wide-range thermal calibration, and excellent non-linearity. Additionally, yaw drifting can be zeroed either through a static startup or manually via an API call. The devices are housed in a durable casing with short period reverse voltage protection and improved ESD protection on communication ports. They also feature an adjustable UART baud rate, a Micro USB 2.0 port, and low energy consumption.

The compact dimensions of the TM210-G and TM210-GP ensure they can be integrated into a variety of setups without requiring significant space. Both models share identical mechanical dimensions, including mounting holes, to facilitate easy installation.

Furthermore, the gyroscopes offer a digital interface with dual communication ports, including a UART and a Micro USB 2.0 port, supporting a Virtual COM Port profile. The output rate is configurable, allowing for flexibility in data transmission frequency.
