The Waveshare 7.5" NFC-Powered e-Paper Evaluation Kit, Wireless Powering & Data Transfer (Not Compatible w/ Samsung) is an innovative solution designed for seamless wireless operation without the need for a battery. This kit includes an NFC-powered e-paper display, an NFC reader, a micro SD card, and other essential accessories, making it ready for immediate use. Utilizing advanced passive NFC technology, the kit allows for wireless powering and data transfer, eliminating the complications associated with battery life and wiring.

The operation of this e-paper display is facilitated by bringing a smartphone with NFC capabilities or an NFC reader close to the device, enabling both power and data transfer wirelessly. It is important to note that this product is not compatible with Samsung smartphones.

The NFC board within the kit is equipped with an ST25R3911B NFC chip and an AT32F413RBT7 controller, featuring an ARM® 32-bit Cortex™-M4F core. This setup supports a variety of communication interfaces, including SPI, USART, I2C, CAN, USB, and SDIO, along with AD and DA converters. The board also includes a 1.3-inch OLED display, user buttons, and indicators, providing a comprehensive interface for various applications.

This evaluation kit is particularly suitable for applications such as price tags, asset or equipment tags, shelf labels, and conference name tags, offering a versatile solution for dynamic display needs. The e-paper display offers a high resolution of 800x480 with a wide viewing angle of over 170 degrees, ensuring clear visibility in various settings.
