The Waveshare DDSM Driver HAT (B) for DDSM400 Hub Motor, ESP32, 2.4G WiFi, Type-C, UART is a sophisticated driver board designed to facilitate the control of the DDSM400 hub motor. It integrates the ESP32-WROOM-32 module, enabling a variety of wired and wireless communication modes, including 2.4G WiFi. This driver board supports JSON command interaction, simplifying the control process for users.
An integrated web application is available for controlling and configuring the DDSM400 hub motors, enhancing the ease of debugging. The board allows direct control of the hub motors through an onboard Type-C port and can be connected to a Raspberry Pi. It features a 5V buck regulator circuit for powering the Raspberry Pi and communicates via the GPIO UART interface, ensuring efficient cable management.
The driver board is equipped with multiple motor interfaces and supports ESP Now, providing a comprehensive solution for motor control applications. It is powered through an XT60 or a 5*2.5mm DC power jack, accommodating a voltage range of 9V to 28V.
