The Actuonix External RC Control Board Ext-R for L12 Actuators is a streamlined, in-line version of the LAC, designed for ease of use and compatibility. It features a standard RC input and position controller, ensuring seamless integration with most RC receivers, as well as a variety of controllers including Raspberry Pi and Arduino platforms. The board is equipped with position feedback-based Stall Protection, enhancing the safety and reliability of the system. Additionally, it boasts an adjustable potentiometer that allows users to set a current limit from 0A to 1A, which can contribute to extending the lifespan of the actuator by preventing excessive force generation under overload conditions.
The control board offers flexibility in power sources; it can be energized either through the 3-wire RC connection or by attaching an external supply to the supplementary pins. Compatibility is broad, with the board supporting any P16, T16, P8, or L8 model that concludes with -P. To facilitate installation, a one-meter RC extension cable and a piece of heat shrink are provided with the board.
