The Cytron DIY Solar-Powered Fan Kit provides an engaging and interactive way for children to learn about renewable energy sources. The fan, which is powered by a solar panel, is simple enough to be assembled by a 4-year-old with the assistance of an adult. Children who are 6 years old and above can independently assemble it.

The primary objective of this kit is to facilitate a better understanding of how solar panels and electric motors function. The kit is comprehensive, providing all the necessary components for the assembly of the fan. These include wooden parts for the fan structure, a compact solar panel, a small DC motor, a propeller, double-sided tape, and cable ties.

Please note that from October 2022 onwards, a small screw is not included in the kit. Additionally, the solar panel is designed for outdoor use, as indoor lighting does not generate sufficient electric power.
