The Devantech RD02 - 12 Volt Robot Drive System is a complete Robot Drive system, ready to integrate into your robot, comprising of an MD25 motor drive module, two EMG30 gear motors with encoders, two mounting brackets, two 100mm wheels with hubs already fitted. Screws to fit the motors to the brackets and a hex key for the hub screw are included.

Devantech RD02 - 12 Volt Robot Drive System

Only a single 12v battery capable of supplying peak current of 6Amps is required to power the system. Power for the logic comes from an on-board 5v regulator which is also capable of supplying up to 300mA to your own circuits.

Note: The documentation includes the read/write bit when it talks about I2C addresses. Some systems, such as Arduino, handle that bit separately, so the address that should be used is half the value specified in the documentation. For example, the default address is 0x58 when used with Arduino.

Good material

Quality material. WARNING: in the product documentation given on this page, the default I2C bus address is false! It is not 0xB0 but 0x58. This can save you time by thinking that your editing or program is wrong, as I was able to do :)
