The DFRobot DTOF LD19 Laser Lidar Sensor Kit (12m) is a compact and lightweight sensor that offers a remarkable ranging distance of up to 12m. It is capable of 360° environmental scanning, enabling autonomous mapping and obstacle detection. The size of the sensor is comparable to a ping-pong ball, and its weight is approximately equivalent to two AA dry batteries.

This sensor is designed to withstand strong light up to 30 Klux, ensuring high-precision distance measurement in both indoor and outdoor environments. The included software development kit is compatible with both ROS1 and ROS2 systems. The sensor utilizes a brushless motor, ensuring long-lasting operation and high-speed data transmission.

This Lidar sensor is highly versatile and can be used in a variety of applications. It is particularly suitable for use in drones, robot obstacle avoidance systems, smart sweepers, gesture control systems, and 2D gesture recognition systems.
