The DFRobot RF Modules (pair) provide a simple and economical solution to wireless data communications. The employment of an embedded high-speed microprocessor and high-performance IC creates a transparent UART/TTL interface and eliminates any need for packetizing and data encoding.
Datasheet could be expanded with a little more example code in C, but once you got it going it's working very well! When you're using the software to set the board's parameters, don't forget to start the program with administrator rights; otherwise it won't work.

Fine toy!
I really like this RF modules. Working distance over 1200 meters. They very reliable and good price too. I recommend this product for all robot communication projects.
